The “L” means
low carbon.
The lower carbon content helps preserve corrosion resistance, particularly around welded areas. That matters when a product is expected to remain outdoors, season after season.

The architecture of water
From the first touch to the final detail, SINED shapes water into a more considered way of living — inside and out.
Discover↓A way of living
It belongs beneath the open sky, beside the pool, in the quiet of a bathroom and in the details we touch every day.
Our Water world connects showers, taps, mixers, accessories and baths through one calm, coherent design language.
One element. Many lives.
Outdoor
The Water collection
Explore the collection by product when you are ready to move from atmosphere to specification.
Freestanding, wall-mounted and built-in forms for garden, pool and bathroom.
Basin, bath and kitchen taps made to extend considered design beyond the bathroom.
Complete, coordinated systems for intuitive control of flow and temperature.
The small architectural details that make a space feel resolved.
Sculptural resin baths with a calm material presence, indoors or outside.
03 — Why 316L
Not all stainless steel is the same. SINED selects AISI 316L for the parts of the collection designed to live with water, humidity and the outdoors. Its composition makes it particularly resistant to corrosion in demanding environments, including pools and coastal locations.
The result is not simply a durable object. It is a material that can move naturally from bathroom to terrace, keeping the same precise surface, weight and architectural character.
Understanding the material
A material chosen for a reason — and maintained with the same care as any architectural surface.
The lower carbon content helps preserve corrosion resistance, particularly around welded areas. That matters when a product is expected to remain outdoors, season after season.
Compared with more common stainless steels, 316L contains molybdenum. It improves resistance to localised corrosion caused by chlorides — relevant around pools, salt air and the coast.
Chromium in the alloy forms a thin passive layer on the surface. With correct care, this invisible layer continually helps protect the steel below.
05 — Living with 316L
Stainless does not mean maintenance-free. A few regular gestures help the surface keep its original character.
Rinse away salt, chlorine and cosmetic residues with fresh water.
Use a soft cloth with water and neutral soap. Avoid abrasive pads and harsh products.
Where temperatures can freeze, isolate the water supply and fully drain outdoor showers.
